New MySpace group
I figured since we now had a KO group on MS, there may as well be some Netjer specific ones, so I made one for dear ole Mom. I hope to use this in conjunction with the LJ community I have, so that if someone has one or the other they can still take part. So feel free to join if you are a child of Aset or have a keen interest in Mom.

Aset bless you all
Of late Mom has thrown me a couple of curve balls but I think I've handled them well. Mostly, though, She's pissed that I've wandered so far away. I'm going to work towards being more spiritually active and invite you all to join me. I was thinking of posting the myths and stories about Mom and we can talk about them here.

Hello everyone.

I'm a bit new here, as you can tell. Anyways, I sort of wanted to pose a question to everyone. I haven't been working with Aset for very long; only since the summer and then off and on because of daily stress, but there's no doubt in my mind that she is not my Mother. At any rate, since I'm rather inexerienced...I was wondering how you all do spell craft; I've been a practicing witch for a few years but I'm not sure how the kemetics practice magic. So if anyone could offer what they do and what is taboo in the Kemetic religion...or to Aset, please let me know because it's very much appreciated. ^_^

I don't know if this community is still alive but ...

I'm a polytheist not affiliated with any particular Kemetic temple. I'm not even necessarily affiliated solely with Kemeticism. My primary religious interest is in the cult of Aset that swept the entire Mediterranean (and beyond) under the name of Isis. While I look primarily to Kemetic history and mythology in dealing with this goddess, I don't necessarily discount some Greco-Roman influences in the evolution of the cult. I realize the Greco-Roman influences are probably off-topic for this community, so I'll stick to the Kemetic side of things.

I hope to have some interesting discussions.

Forgive me...
Dearest Mother,

I come before You to seek Your forgiveness and guidance.
I did not mean to anger You with the addition of the pendant.
I did not mean to disappoint You with my absence from Shrine.
I am lost and need Your help.
I feel as though I have laid out too much and flounder and fail.
I feel unworthy of You and Your love
Unwhole and unclean.
Please don't turn from me when I need You most.
I am lost and need Your help.
Forgive me for failing You.

Any kemetics in London?
Hi all,

I am looking to contact any other kemetics in the London/Surrey area of the UK. I am reasonably sure there may be a temple running in London. I am not sure I want to actually join another temple, as I am happy with finding my own path worshipping solo for now, but it'd be great to be linked with others of the same beliefs.

Does anyone know of any Kemetics in London?

Dua Aset!
It somehow seems very fitting that the first entry here is to wish Mom a Happy Birthday.

Go, Mom! Go, Mom! Go, Mom!

May Your courage help those that need it.
May Your wings comfort those in turmoil.
May Your strength hold us strong.
May Your cunning teach us more than we know.
May Your warmth save us from the cold.
May You guide and protect those that know you, and those that don't.
And may Your light remain in ours lives for always.

*full henu*

Now blow out Your candles. Life's too short to save dessert for last. :)
